Ringing in the New Year With Kindness

In the season of giving, our team was eager to support our community.

Several team members volunteered at Food Bank of the Rockies this fall. In Colorado, 1 in 7 children are experiencing food insecurity, which can impact nearly every stage of their development. We were so pleased to assemble meal kits for hungry children in our area.

Food Bank of the Rockies provides food and necessities to people in need through signature programs and by teaming up with hundreds of Hunger Relief Partners to serve communities across Colorado and Wyoming, the largest food bank coverage area in the contiguous United States.

During the month of November, our team also supported Movember. We hosted a bake sale, a chili cookoff, and a Thanksgiving football pick ‘em to help raise money for the cause. These three events, paired with the doubling of funds by Pringles, allowed us to raise of $1k for Movember.

Movember is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness about men’s mental and physical health. Since it began raising funds 20 years ago, the organization has raised over $1 billion, funding research and programs around mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer.

Our team members also hosted a pet supply drive for Foothills Animal Shelter. We donated cat carriers, toys, leashes, and more. Foothills Animal Shelter is an open admission facility serving Jefferson County in the state of Colorado and is a member of the Metro Denver Animal Welfare Alliance.

Throughout the year, our team members champion different ways to give back that are meaningful to them. With the support of our leadership and fellow team members, we are able to help a variety of causes in their missions to serve our community.
