Western Paper Helps Raise Over $120,000 for Scholarships at Metro Lodging Golf Tournament

On Thursday, July 26, 2018, Western Paper once again served as the generous title sponsor of Metro Denver Lodging Council’s annual golf tournament benefiting the Colorado Hospitality Scholarship program. This year’s event, held at the Hilton Denver Inverness, was a remarkable success, generating about $120,000 of funding to help students achieve higher education. This amount was about twice as much as was raised last year, and we are so pleased that one hundred percent of the proceeds will be used to provide scholarships to students enrolled in hospitality programs in Denver.

Western Paper employees Aaron Armstrong, Drew Frank and Steve Jung were among those playing to support the scholarship funding. In addition to Western Paper’s title sponsorship, there was generous support and participation provided by a number of our manufacturing partners, including Rubbermaid, Tennant Company and Solo/Dart. With beverages provided by Tivoli Brewing Company, a good time for a great cause was once again had by all.
