Western Paper Team Members Raise Money for Alzheimer's Research

In September, eight Western Paper team members took part in the 2018 Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The Denver walk was an amazing success, generating enthusiastic community support with 11,000 participants walking to raise over $1.3 million!

This charitable opportunity was brought to our recognition by our very own Tara Curnow in Supplier Management, who is already planning to put together an even larger team next year. We are proud of team members who jumped in to help raise funding for research to find a cure from Alzheimer’s, both through the walk and our Greens for Jeans charity program. Incredibly, Alzheimer’s is currently the only cause of death in the top 10 in America that cannot be prevented, cured or slowed, so we look forward to making an even bigger impact next year!
