Western Paper Sponsors Colorado Sports Hall of Fame Banquet

As a proud Gold Level Sponsor for the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame, Western Paper Distributors, a division of Imperial Dade, attended the 59th Annual Colorado Sports Hall of Fame Induction Banquet.

This year’s inductees were former pro football players Barney Chavous and Tony Boselli, boys basketball coach Rudy Carey, sports columnist Woody Paige, and sports writer and founder of the Fred Steinmark Award Scott Stocker. There have been more than 280 inductees since the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame was founded in 1985.

Peyton Manning also presented the 18 to 88 award, which honors the late Demaryius Thomas, to Westminster High School senior Ceezer Garcia during the banquet.

The Colorado Sports Hall of Fame, located in Empower Field at Mile High Stadium, honors Coloradoan athletes, coaches and other contributors to the success of sports in our state for their accomplishments and leadership. It also builds programs to support youth athletes throughout the state to build citizenship, character and leadership.
