Western Paper Proudly Sponsors the 2020 CHLA Annual Conference!

The COVID-19 pandemic has hit the hotel and lodging industry particularly hard this year, with little sign of an approaching return to normalcy anywhere in sight. But business must continue, even if it requires accommodating and adapting to the new challenges of 2020.

The Colorado Hotel and Lodging Association (CHLA) provided both leadership and precedent by hosting a remarkably successful annual conference at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs on September 30, 2020. Participants wore masks and socially distanced themselves strategically to allow industry leaders and hoteliers a much needed opportunity to gather, share insights and discover new opportunities for growth and survival in the midst of a challenging business environment.

Western Paper was thrilled to be a sponsor and contribute guidance and protocols with its “SAFER SPACES” program to help the CHLA host a strategic, hygienic and healthy event. The energy, excitement and appreciation for industry team members to be able to get back together again was unmistakable! Morning educational sessions were combined with a relaxed, afternoon golf tournament featuring tradeshow-type set ups at each tee box to give participants a chance to work and play at the same time.

Western Paper is proud to partner with CHLA to demonstrate that conferences can and should still be done in 2020 with the proper precautions in place, and we’re grateful for the precedent and example set during this safe and successful event!
