Western Paper Team “Rocks” a Fundraising Effort for the American Lung Association

Our September effort to give back to our community was to raise both awareness and funds for the American Lung Association. Our campaign was led by our very own Sales Support Professional Ariel Supangan, working on behalf of his wife, Christina, whose father lost his battle with lung disease in 2012.

The Run the Rocks event features breathtaking views, challenging hills, local live music along the course, and a climb up the iconic steps of the Amphitheatre to a cheering crowd at the finish line with ice cold beer! The Western Paper leadership team agreed to match the money raised by team members and together they raised a total of $1,250, making Christina a top fundraiser for the day! We are thankful for the opportunity to be a part of helping save lives, improving lung health and preventing lung disease.
