Western Paper Team Members and Suppliers Donate Hygiene Kits to Local Nonprofit
More than 120 Western Paper team members and valued suppliers took part in THE AMAZING RACE, a competitive GPS directed scavenger hunt that had participants working together to locate key landmarks, compete in team challenges, and most importantly, collect deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes and other hygiene essentials that were assembled into bags and donated to benefit Summit County families in need.
Western Paper partnered with CBST Adventures for the execution of the fun activity, and worked with FIRC (Family and Intercultural Resource Center) to collect and distribute the hygiene kits. Director of Programs Peter Bakken was on hand to personally collect the hygiene kits and express his appreciation to the participants for making a meaningful impact on local families needing assistance.
According to Western Paper CEO Nick Morris, "We were thrilled to spend an afternoon working together to assemble these hygiene kits. The activities were a lot of fun, but it's far more rewarding to know these items will have a positive impact on struggling local families."
